Marian Gorynia (born 7 October 1956, in Dusinie () ) is a Polish economist, professor and rector of the University of Economics in Poznań 〔http://ue.poznan.pl/pl/uniwersytet,c13/wladze,c12/〕〔http://www.perspektywy.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4860&Itemid=902〕〔http://www.mariangorynia.pl/index.php?p=12〕 from 2008 year.

Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980, at the University of Economics in Poznan (from 27 December 2008 was renamed the University of Economics in Poznań ). From the beginning of his career he was inextricably linked with the University, where he passed all levels of promotion. His professional career started in 1983 the year of assistantship at the Institute of International Economic Relations. After his doctorate in 1985 he was promoted to the position of senior assistant, then a year later assumed the position of assistant professor at the same institute. After obtaining a PhD degree in economic sciences in 1998, he was appointed to the position of professor of the University of Economics in Poznan. In 2000 he received the title of professor of economics. Since 2003 he has been full professor at Poznan University of Economics (now the University of Economics in Poznań ).
In 1999-2002 he served as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Poznan . In 2002-2008, for two terms, he was Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations. Since 2008 he has been the Rector of the University of Economics in Poznan . 2 March 2012 was re-elected to the position of rector of the term 2012/2013-2015/2016 () .
He received fellowships, trips consultation and study visits to foreign research centers: at the University of Lyon in France (1987), in Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education and the Nottingham Trent University in the UK (1990, 1991–1992), the University of Social Sciences in Toulouse, France (1991), in higher business schools in Barcelona and Lisbon (1992), the Institut de Gestion des Enterprises in Rennes, France (1997) and at the University of Georg August University of Göttingen - (1997, 1998 and 1999).
He is a member of the Committee of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the Editorial Board of the journal of the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy "Economic Studies". It is also the chairman of the Scientific Council of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Jury Prize of the President of Poland, a member of the National Business Council, and Chairman of the Conference of Rectors of the University of Economics. Part of the Scientific Council of the Polish Economic Society, the Editorial Board of "Economist", the Editorial Board of "National Economy", Editorial Review Board of the "Journal of Transnational Management", Editorial Board of "International Journal of Institutional Governance", European International Business Academy (from 2007 Board Member), and the International Management Development Association. Member of the Polish Economic Society and the Editorial Board of "Scientific Bulletin PTE", Poznań Society of Friends of Science, the Editorial Board of the series' Reports CASE 'and the Programme Council of the letter' Issues Management '- Faculty of Management at Warsaw University . In 2011-2012 he was a member of the Central Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles.
The award-winning commended the Minister (of Education and Science and Higher Education ): six individual awards (for habilitation thesis, books and teaching achievements and scientific), and the three winning team-mates. In 1999, the Academy awarded in the field of economics. Fryderyk Skarbek 's book Fri "Behaviour of companies in transition. Microeconomics transition. " In 2004 he received the Award Committee of Organization and Management of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the editorial scientific monograph-operation collective Fri "Luka competitive at the enterprise level and the Polish accession to the European Union". In 2009, he won the prize of the Polish Economic Society. prof. Edward Lipinski 's book Fri "Strategies for international expansion of companies' () . In addition, in 2013, he was honored by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy for special achievements in export activities.
